Intrinsic Value

Simply because someone does not value you, you do not lose any of your worth. The owner of a diamond treating it like a piece of glass does not really make the diamond so. The diamond remains a diamond, just as dazzling. Never lose faith in your own worth, because nobody’s actions except your own can alter it, intrinsically. Perceptions may vary like stock market prices do. But don’t ever doubt or get out of touch with your ‘intrinsic’ value. Know it, cherish it. Only you know for sure what it is, because it is you who has built it with your bare hands.
